Tucked away in the busy streets of Santa Ana, California is a wedding venue called Estate on Second. This beautiful building is a wedding photographer’s delight with tall ceilings and big oversized windows to allow for a lot of natural light. It has a perfect blend of simplicity and modern. This is a short story about Tomo and Angie's beautiful Estate on Second wedding.

Last October Tomo and Angie stood in front of their family and friends and declared their love for one another. I was fortunate enough to capture it all! Today, I share moments from that day.

As a wedding photographer, and a storyteller, I enjoy discovering unique features with each wedding I capture. In this wedding it was an unsung hero, Angie’s maid of honor, Denisse. If you ever wonder what the ideal maid of honor is - it is her. Throughout the day, she made sure that Angie was priority one. From being Angie's hair and makeup artist to making sure she is hydrated and fed. She smiled and greeted guest as she passed them all the while keeping her peripheral vision on Angie. Never have I met a maid of honor so dedicated and so attentive. Denisse really made this day special for the couple. I am so glad I photographed these moments.

This was a wedding event filled with personal touches. After the bride and groom said their vows, Tomo turned to Angie’s daughter and vowed promises to her as well and signified it with a beautiful necklace. During the reception, the couple went above and beyond to make their guest feel special. They surprised the guests with a lively mariachi band that brought everyone to the dance floor. Angie changed to her party gown and they hit the dance floor as husband and wife. Their photo booth was filled with personalized props that represented the couple. They even sent their wedding guest home with coke bottles that displayed their last name. It was a wedding day to remember!
