I often come across many clients that are shy - even more so in front of a camera. This is one of the reasons I have interviews with my clients. I get to know their story, who they are as a couple and more importantly build a bond of comfort between us. This is probably why most of my clients become my friends; that and the fact that I had the pleasure of sitting front and center during their biggest, most important day of their lives.

Yet with ever efforts to break down the "shyness" there is something magical that happens when two people are truly in love. All barriers - all fears disappear. Love is just that - souls, barring all, intimate, deep with no reservations. Today, two people bare their souls to invite us into the beginning of their happily ever after. It is with great pleasure that I introduce Maricel and Jordan.

Maricel is a native Chicagoan and Jordan is from Orlando. They both work at Florida hospital, only a couple of floors apart. One day, as fate will have it, Maricel and Jordan were brought together by a mutual friend - Laraine (thanks Laraine! Cupid owes you big). They all ran into each other during a shopping trip. Laraine insisted that Jordan and Maricel would be a good fit. Shortly after, as Maricel was on a trip to Thailand, Jordan reached out via Facebook thus began their romance.

Jordan proposed to Maricel in her home town amongst close family and friends overseeing the beautiful Chicago skyline. Jordan, reserved in nature, was uninhibited with an emotional outburst and tears of joy when Maricel said, yes! Though we weren't there to see that moment, you can definitely see their love in this engagement session.

For this session, we venture into the beautiful Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida. This is a picture perfect open field filled with tall green grass, bright flowers and a gorgeous sunset. It was such a privilege capturing intimate moments of these two love birds. The magic of love unraveled as these two grazed ever so effortlessly during this session. Love dissipated his reserved nature by allowing her beauty to lead. I feel entirely privileged being selected to capture these moments.
